Michael Arndt (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Arndt) has been confirmed as the screenplay writer for Episode VII. Arndt wrote the screen play for Toy Story 3, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (currently in production) and won an Oscar for Little Miss Sunshine.

This is probably an obvious choice for Disney with Arndt's ties to Pixar. Toy Story and Little Miss Sunshine are obviously in a completely different genre, but two movies with a lot of heart. This is an intriguing development, I'm sure there are many people lining up to be involved in this movie. It will be interesting to see who gets the nod.
